What Keeps Me Full These Days

Rawlicious
This drink right here is down right amazing. I especially like it "semi-frozen." I like the feeling of nibbling blended (ice)vegetables. The texture is pretty chunky. Don't be fooled by the color. Don't shun it. It's gonna give you a different kind of energy. It screams good vibes, actually. This specific drink has celery, apple, banana, spinach, romaine lettuce and talbos! It's definitely a healthy meal in bottle. I hope you guys can give it a try. (:

The Pictures that I Owe. (:

I'm currently lusting on this pair as I type. (:

Compare. Her shiny and spankin' pink pair and my old and rusty but filled with awesome adventures green pair.

Vegan Caesar (P100)

Leche Flan (P75)

I'd ditch Coke (and probably milk tea) for this. <3 A&W cream soda (P40)

Rawlicious smoothies (P105 each)

The color often scares people but when you get to taste it, you'll like it. I'm certain. (: Thanks Rawlicious!

Food entry.

Okay, this is crazy. I'm gonna be talking about food. My favorite. Hmmmm!

I was famished after a long day at work yesterday. I decided to check my Twitter. Lo and behold, Pedeli replied to my tweet to my DJ friends! (Hey Neil and Scarlet! *grins*) It was a tweet from long ago, okay, not that long. It made me decide to grab food there before heading to Shangrila.

I walked to Pedeli's from the office. It's pretty near, about 10 minutes away. I hurriedly went inside the building. without asking the guard where it is exactly. Yes, I got lost in the building's little labyrinth. Fortunately, I saw someone who works there.

I met Eboy there, and eventually Peter too. We had a long talk! It was purely good times. I had vegan caesar salad, leche flan and A&W cream soda all for a very friendly price of P215. (Pictures to follow, I can't find my usb cable.) I specifically like the dressing of the salad. It has the right texture and creaminess. I seriously can't wait to go back.

I'm thrilled to share that  meeting other people makes me know myself more. Eboy and I talked about why and how I became a vegetarian. I appreciate practicality. I appreciate my decisions more.

By the way, *scratches head* I get really star struck when I meet celebrities. I think I blushed last night when I met Eboy. He was part of the Pinoy edition of The Biggest Loser! I am really proud of his story. I hope he continues his path to healthy living. Kudos, bro!

One more thing, before I left the office, I saw a girl wearing neon pink Dr. Martens. I just had to take a photo. Again, I'll upload it soon. Wee!

On a serious note, when we just choose to be happy with the simple things around us, we get contented. You don't lose the will to go on and move forward though, because you just do it. I hope we all find contentment everyday, so that before we close our eyes to sleep, we can gratify the universe for a lovely day - no matter what happened.

Cheers to happiness!

Worth.

The service yesterday reminded me of my worth, my stand in my relationship, and the stand of women in general. I appreciate how the universe is teaching me how to submit to men (specifically to my partner) intelligently. My feminist friends may claim that what I'm saying completely opposes what they are fighting for but come to think of it, there's truth in it. I think. We're given freewill and intellect to decide, yes. But we're also given a meek and submissive side. This may not work for everyone but it feels good to be pursued by a man who knows your worth and eventually submit to him - not because the world or your religion says it's right. But because it's what your heart is saying.

Women, if you're in a relationship wherein your partner treats you less than how you're supposed to be treated, let's talk. Don't end the relationship right away. Who knows? You still might be able to save it. (: But in general, if anyone else (man or woman) is trying to make you feel less than your worth, just believe in the power and the bigness that is (already) you. When you start believing, it will just radiate and people will start giving you the respect, and love, and all things happy (and sparkly) that you deserve.

Yes, I may not have enjoyed Peter Pan that much but the story that J.M. Barrie will always be in my head. Believing in something can and may save a life. (whispers: "I do believe in fairies!") Know your worth. Trials will come but who says you're on your battle alone? The whole universe is with you. Smile.

So how was your weekend? (:

Healthy > Beauty

What does it take to be healthy? How does beauty equate in being healthy? What are you willing to do to be considered beautiful? What are you willing to do to be healthy? This is a concern I want to raise to everyone. Why do people have to suffer for the sake of being accepted? Wouldn't the world be a happier one if we just forget about judging other people?

This is a challenge for everyone, yes, myself included. (I'd probably top the list if it does exists.) If we are serious in making this place a peaceful one, then we must lessen (or stop) judging others. Everyone has and has been judged. Be complete. Let today be a forgive and forget Friday. Let go, let God.

Thank you guys for reading! Happy weekend! Oooh, November 07 is a holiday! Well, in the Philippines, it is!

Keep on loving love, and please, keep positivity coming. <3<3

Blessing.

This is such a sad video but I hope you stick watching it 'til the end.

Watching this video made me think about my Chinese history, which isn't much since I was born and raised in the Philippines. What if my grandfather didn't leave China? What if he decided to stay there and just be with his wife? What would become of us? Will my two aunts be born? I am privileged that my Dad is a first son, but I don't think I can fathom my grandfather abandoning my aunts because they're girls. And looking at it, my Dad would feel insanely blessed after having my brother, and they wouldn't opt to have another child, or children, in our case. It's sad but it also makes me grounded and humbled. It reminds me that I am already thankful for the gift of life and whatever that may come with it are just huge perks of living. I may complain and cuss, I know, but it's a journey I'd like to share with everyone.

I wasn't expecting that this will be my welcome entry as I share this blog to everyone. My sole prayer is that it reaches the people it's supposed to reach on the time they need an uplift most.

Happy reading everyone! Keep on loving love.

"The less you have, the more you value it."

Value what (and who) you have while you still have them, and they are still with you. Let's not live a life not knowing the worth of things and people around us. Life is too short to be wasted hating circumstances that are coming our way. I hope we all can walk hand in hand as we choose to love now - who we are, where we are and what we have.

Keep on loving love, sweethearts.
